Wealth is stock (what you own now). Income is flow (what you earn each year). The top 1 % usually hold a larger wealth share than income share. And thanks to policies enacted by a majority republican congress the average working American doesn't share in that wealth. In fact the top 1% own a LARGE share (about 30 %) leaving 70 % for the remaining 99 % of people. Stock includes real estate, pension, trade stocks
